Job Description
- Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns and medical history.
- Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care. I.e., magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) scans, fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and X-ray.
- Report the imaging findings and ensure delivering result to the referring doctor.
- Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to radiological technicians.
- Supervision of duties of assigned junior staff.
- Completes all required documentation accurately, timely, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards and to comply with Electronic Medical Record requirements.
- Provide effective communication between all members of the multidisciplinary team caregivers.
- Assist in covering for unexpected absences.
- Participation in Consultants on-call Rota and cover in exceptional circumstances for colleagues’ absence.
