What you will do

• Medication Dispensing: Review, prepare, label, and dispense medications accurately and in compliance with regulations.

• Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and interactions.

• Drug Information: Provide pharmacological guidance to healthcare professionals and patients.

• Insurance Coordination: Process insurance approvals and ensure payer compliance.

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, maintain FIFO, and flag low stock, near-expiry, or discrepancies.

• Controlled Substances: Handle narcotic and restricted medications in line with MOH regulations with accurate recordkeeping.

• Quality & Compliance: Uphold hospital policies and JCI standards while maintaining a safe pharmacy environment.

• Team Support: Support pharmacy technicians, streamline workflow, and contribute to staff training.

You will thrive here if you have…

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution

• Valid MOH license to practice in Kuwait

• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (Kuwait preferred)

• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, therapeutic effects, and pharmacy systems

• Familiarity with insurance processes and approvals

• Strong attention to detail with a patient-centered approach
