What you will do
Patient Assessment: Conduct clinical, cognitive, psychosocial, and pre-bariatric surgery evaluations for metabolic and digestive health patients.
Behavioral Interventions: Develop individualized psychological treatment plans targeting emotional eating, stress management, and sustainable lifestyle modifications.
Chronic Condition Support: Provide evidence-based therapy for patients managing obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, IBS, IBD, and stress-related gastrointestinal symptoms.
Care Coordination: Partner with endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, bariatric surgeons, and dietitians to deliver unified, multidisciplinary care.
Documentation & Quality: Maintain accurate clinical data in compliance with JCI standards, hospital regulations, and safety protocols.

High-quality, timely pre-surgical psychological clearances and behavioral monitoring
Accurate, compliant, and complete clinical documentation

You will thrive here if you have…
Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait
A minimum of 3 years' experience post-Master's treating psychological patients in weight, metabolic, and digestive health
Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
Strong skills in cognitive behavioral strategies, emotional strength, and diplomatic care delivery
Ability to assume greater clinical responsibility calmly within a fast-paced hospital environment
Proficiency in EMR systems, hospital database navigation, and clinical resource optimization
